Saturday, 25 September 2010. I went to Edinburgh mainly for the Rehearsal Orchestra course. We played many, many pieces. Some of the pieces we played were:. Ottorino Respighi 'Fountains Of Rome. Arthur Honegger 'Pacific 231'. Richard Strauss 'Don Juan' Tone Poem. The course was great, i gained so much experiance. BUT Being a tuba player i had alot of time on my hands. i did many things to pass the time. Looking around Edinburgh with a fantastic Telescope. A view of the Tattoo entrance from the roof.

Too many words to tweet. The view from above. I love looking down on cities and towns, and think that you haven’t seen a city if you haven’t gotten above to have a good look. Here are a couple of examples. Two years ago I was in Edinburgh for the first time. We stayed in an apartment on the Royal Mile, explored the Castle, walked the New Town, visited Gladstone’s Land and climbed to the top of the Camera Obscura. From where this picture was taken.
