I realized that there are some seriously interesting names of cities/towns/villages/etc. up here. One of them today was Quinhagak. We also have a patient in Egegik (one of my favorite ones to say). Life in the Land of "The Frozen Chozen". Sunday, September 21, 2008. OK, so we finally harvested the garden. I knew we would get cabbage, some lettuce, maybe a raddish.but to my surprise, we also had peas! And they were pretty tasty, too! I thought I would show you the pictures. I would have gotten a picture, but it's really hard to get good ones. The thing about the northern lights is they come out when it's dark, clear, and freaking cold! I guess it's a catch-22?
