Free Spirit Photographics: January 2013
http://freespiritphotographics.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 4, 2013. I live in a climate that is about a 70/30 split - winter/summer. I absolutely LOVE summer, however until I become independently wealthy and can move somewhere much closer to the equator, I am forced to tolerate the weather which is bestowed upon us for almost three-quarters of the year. Fortunately (if you look on the bright side), snow and frost can make for some of the most beautiful photos! Interesting Lighting - Lake Louise. Groovy Clouds - Norquay. All-Day Frost - Lake Louise.

Never the same day twice!!: Sista is in the house!
http://kidinacandyshop.blogspot.com/2015/06/sista-is-in-house.html
Saturday, June 13, 2015. Sista is in the house! What a most excellent weekend! My baby sister Heather came for a visit, and we had a fabulous time in the mountains. It wasn't long enough - it never is - but I'm grateful for the few awesome days I got to spend with her! Toni and Chris joined us as we enjoyed the relatively mellow stroll up to Helen Lake. The creek was moderately higher on the way out. The feet got a little wet, as there was no other place to cross! We're all still smiling! So glad you had...

Free Spirit Photographics: Wonderful Wilderness Wedding!
http://freespiritphotographics.blogspot.com/2011/09/wilderness-wedding.html
Monday, September 12, 2011. This past weekend, two of my very dear, close friends got married, and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding which was held at a campground just east of Canmore. Wow! The day could not have been more perfect! Later on this week, the happy couple is heading out on a three-month adventure, so I've been working feverishly to get a few photos edited for them before they go. I'm about 20% of the way there, and I thought I'd share some of my favorites so far. My Fave For...

Free Spirit Photographics: October 2010
http://freespiritphotographics.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 4, 2010. Some friends whom I don't get to see very often stopped out in Canmore yesterday, and I spent an hour or so with them and their adorable little girl, taking some family photos. We wandered around at the Quarry, and I had just too much fun with my camera as the impossibly cute Sierra explored the park. Sierra is energetic and curious and has the cutest curly brown hair! What a fabulous day! Posted by Cheryle Battrum. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Gear Reviews and Info.

We're six weeks into 2011 already. and I can't believe it's been nearly three months since the last post. tsk, tsk. What the heck have I been up to, you ask? Well, let me tell you. Or, I guess I could let my travel blog. Tell the story for me. Go on, check it out! You know you wanna! Suffice it to say, I've been doing many things other than focusing on photography. Hee hee - isn't that an ironic sentence! Awny Betts Phot...
