July 21, 2013. I’m going to Africa! Zambia this time. Senegal before (1989). God has graciously allowed me to return. For 2 weeks I get to walk on the red African soil again and watch the sun set behind the African horizon. I think the funniest story I’ve ever heard about this mix is when Oma used it instead of whole wheat flour on the rabbit she was cooking! That was the first real “chocolate bunny”! 1-8qt size dry milk. 1 lb size box of instant chocolate milk. 6 oz jar coffee mate creamer. 3/4 cup powdered sugar. September 28, 2013. It tastes great too!

Once in awhile to make it more healthy I cut both sugars back to a cup, but usually I just leave it. My husband always says, Who wants a healthy cookie anyways? I suppose he’s right! It was when they lived on that beautiful lake! I think it was in June and the strawberries were ripe all over WA, so we went and picked strawberries and made fresh strawberry jam! To go with the jam, we made fresh homemade bread of course! That was about 8 years ago now! 1-1/2 cups boiling water. 1/3 cup warm water.

For one, we learned the recipe while visiting Micah and Allie in Washington, so that makes anything special. For two, the kids and I love them! 2 Tbsp. butter.
