Randam thoughts and jottings from a man in Wincanton. Festival of Leaves – Week 7. Well, what is the state of the leaves now as we come to the end of the second week of November. Some of the trees I see are golden, while others are green and a few are bare. The leaves are definitely looking golden yellow, with some green here and there. But just here the trees are looking very colourful indeed. Everywhere I look is full of colour, even the sky. That tree up there is…. I see some Ash trees are still green.

Randam thoughts and jottings from a man in Wincanton. Festival of Leaves – Week 9. It is a somewhat dark afternoon here in Somerset on the 25th November. I see that there is still some leaves left. Even though it is a somewhat dull afternoon there is still some colour left. Some trees are quite bare while others have green and yellow leaves. While others just have brown. Providing some colour against the green background. But I suppose we shouldn’t expect too much colour now. Not many leaves left up there.
