4 going on 24. Treasure Island at the Hale Centre Theater. Today Kaden has shown me in so many ways how big he is getting and how my little baby is slipping away. Kaden got to walk on the moon and mars and see in real life the planets in outer space. We then headed over to Jason's Deli in Gateway where he ate ALL his PBJ so that he could have an ice cream cone, and did he ever enjoy it! This just showed me again today what a sweet and mature little boy he is becoming! Mom, you're the BEST Mom ever.".

4 going on 24. Tonight as I went back into my closet to change into my pajamas for the night, I passed a picture that I pass everyday, every time I go into my bathroom. It's a picture of Kaden when he was 1 year old in a cute little khaki courderoy jacket with a blue button up shirt underneath on a brown leather chair. As I stared at that picture a wave of feelings came over me. Do I really want my baby to grow up so fast? Why don't I just enjoy my journey with him now? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

4 going on 24. The Monster Truck Bash! For his Birthday Kaden decided to have a birthday party. We looked through a whole Birthday Express magazine to pick out what type of party he wanted to have and of ALL the themes, he chose Monster Trucks! 4 going on 24. All about ME and the letter B. Today I got a fun surprise when he brought home his All About Me book that him and Miss Leslie put together. It is SO cute and thought everyone should see his answers to the questions about himself. 3rd week of Preschool was just as fun as the first! Kaden learned about the letter B and all about colors. On the first week of school Kaden brought home this little note and colored picture, learned how to use scissors to cut and had good snacks to eat.

4 going on 24. Kaden likes to dress himself lately. The other night, he came down the stairs in this HOT outfit. Little side note, this was the suit he wore to Tyler and Lara's wedding in 2008 and his shoes were on the wrong feet. Oh how the boy is growing. He also wanted to wear it to bed. Also, the other day he came down stairs and the conversation went like this:. ME : Where were you? KADEN: I was in my 2nd office. ME: And where would that be? KADEN: In the bathroom. 4 going on 24. As I am getting Kaden ready for church on Sunday, I am buttoning up his shirt and he looks me straight in the eyes and says. I can't wait to go look in the mirror.". I couldn't help but encourage this by saying. Hurry run into mommy's closet and look in her full mirror! Later on while I was combing his hair he looked at himself in the mirror after I was finished and said. I am so handsome mom! Yes he is.and self confident too! I adore that kid!
