I'm primarily a make-it-up-as-I-go kind of cook. I tend to take whatever is around and figure out some way to bring it together. However, I've been trying to up my skills as a home chef, so I've decided to start hitting the books again. Of course I can hardly ever stick to the recipe and working ambitious cooking projects into a busy schedule takes improvisation. This is a journal of the recipes I start with, how I make them work for me, and the adventures that arise.

As both a software engineer and aspiring cook, I found there was no recipe that spoke my language, the language of code.
