Monday, January 14, 2008. Someone in need. Please read. This post was taken from Sharon's. A Kidney Donor Is Needed. She has had the opportunity twice for a transplant from living donors willing to give her a kidney, but both times the health of the donors prevented the transplant. Now, I have to admit that even thinking about donating can be scary. You think, "What if I donate one and then something happens to my other kidney? What if something unusual happens during the surgery to remove my kidney?

The people in the town are finding secret gifts with their name on it and don't know who the secret giver is. There is a lot to this story and it is such a sweet book! The little figures in the above photo are a gift from my sister that she purchased in New Mexico for me. I think it's a pretty and thoughtful way for us to remember our beloved friends and family that have died. I quickly answered yes. My girls were thrilled to get to have make up and photographs done for them too. At first they don't look nearly as pretty as the final product.
