Erin is in ire. Sunday, December 9, 2012. August 3, 2010 I did something I had never done before. I voted in the Republican gubernatorial primary. Michigan had just had 8 years of Democrat Jennifer Granhom (who inherited a mess, I might add) and in addition to it being unlikely a Democrat would win, I was wildly underwhelmed by either of the Democrat options. The Republican field had 5 options most of whom were campaigning on a typical traditional family values, right-to-work, religious right platform.

Erin is in ire. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. There appears to be a big old fashioned multi-class Hope College Theatre Department Reunion Extravaganza in the works for next summer. In less than 24 hours it went from a nostalgic post to a facebook event to an official date. I will most likely not be in town for the weekend that has been decided upon. The library is paying for me to go to ALA in Chicago that weekend. Yeah I can't do that. Having the opportunity to hear authors speak? All things I like.

Erin is in ire. Friday, November 25, 2011. Sick sick sick sick sick. I'm sick. Peter's sick. Charles is sick. Everyone is sick. It crept up on me, but I'm now sitting at the teen reference desk coughing and sneezing and blowing my nose every few minutes. My poor nose is hurty. I can't hear well. And my cough is explosive.
