Wow, It's Lupus. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Yes as you all know I'm curvy by nature. But the lovely thing about Lupus is that the prednisone (which my doctor told me I can no longer avoid) really helps with that vuluptuous look I so carefully cultivate. I am hungry all the time, mainly for bread and crackers, and my face and stomach get so full that I get asked every day "Are you pregnant? I really want to be positive but it is pretty hard. PS: That is a picture I took of myself this morning.

Wow, It's Lupus. Sunday, October 11, 2009. Lupus isn't the only thing eating me up! Wow, 2 posts in one day? What have you done to deserve this? Well I was thinking: There are no real resources for foodies with Lupus. They recommend a vegan diet (check) and lots of fruits and veggies (sort of check) and no alcohol (C-Bo Fail). So if I find anything that is EASY to make for us lupus patients, I will share it here. In the meantime, send me any great raw food recipes you have! Also check this out.
