Cooking, Crafting and Photography. Pork Fajitas with Mango Salsa. Photo by cookie banana (me) on Flickr. https://craftycookie.wordpress.com/2009/10/14/perogies
Cooking, Crafting and Photography. Back to my heritage: Perogies. I remember going to my Ukrainian Grandma’s house for lunch with my mom, and there would always be a 12-course meal of homemade donuts, cake, tea, creamed chicken, borcht, fresh kubasa (garlic sausage), and homemade perogies – cottage cheese, cheddar/bacon, and sometimes blueberry perogies too. Modified from original recipe at AllRecipes.com : Grandma’s Polish Perogies. Cheddar-Bacon and Onion Perogies. Makes approx. 24 perogies). 4 Add wet...

I am reminded of my “Babylon” | Something to Consider
https://alittlesomethingtoconsider.wordpress.com/2012/12/09/i-am-reminded-of-my-babylon
Words on life, being, and moving…. Letting Go… →. I am reminded of my Babylon. December 9, 2012. God is fully aware of our condition. God sends us out as gift-bearers-of-light to a lost and broken world. Think of Jeremiah 29: 4-7. What ashes would you like to leave at Christ’s feet? Are you ready and willing to prosper where you are and let God move through you? Are you ready to stop casting stones? Are you ready to put down your judgments? Are you ready for grace like you’ve never known? Now we are invi...

Letting Go… | Something to Consider
https://alittlesomethingtoconsider.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/letting-go
Words on life, being, and moving…. I am reminded of my Babylon. January 1, 2013. Sometimes it can be painful to let go. Sometimes the tearing is what we fear because we imagine the pain will be immensely unbearable. But, what if we are wrong? What if it’s really about something deeper? What if there is a deeper issue we do not even know exists? We want healing, but we don’t want to suffer through more agony. But what if it is the process of experiencing pain that makes us free? Maybe, just maybe. Enter y...

May 13, 2012. That is the power of confession. Think about what James (Biblica, 2011a) wrote in the bible 2,000 plus years ago, And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. It is no wonder John wrote in chapter 1,. If we confe...
