Fear | Jenna's Words
https://jennaswords.wordpress.com/2015/01/10/fear
Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; 1 Comment. The rapid beating of your heart,. The uncertainty of it all,. Leaves you paralyzed, every part,. And your progress it will stall. But ask why are you afraid,. What is holding you back? The hard work you’ve paid,. It’s only courage you lack. Isolated, alone, the need to take a stand. May drive you to your knees,. But look fear in the eyes, and. Victory you will seize. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Thought on “Fear”. January 15, 2015 at 10:20 pm.

Spring | Jenna's Words

Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; 1 Comment. Three out of four done! As the last traces of ice thaw, the earth is met with something new. The cool drops cleanse the world of all that is foul and brings an air of freshness and excitement. However, there is opposition in all things. Such gentleness and nourishment cannot exist without a darker, more ominous side. Raging storms and floods appear sporadically, proving once more that we are at nature’s mercy. Larr; Previous post. Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; 1 Comment. Since I wrote about fall, I decided to just follow through with all the other seasons. I know I have already written about winter, but I changed it a little for an English assignment. It’s a little dramatic, but I hope you enjoy! Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Thought on “Winter”. Summer | Jenna's Words

Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; Leave a comment. Here it is, short and sweet! I noticed how as I progressed through the seasons, they got worse and worse….). Where the warmth was previously loved and embraced, it is now almost unwanted. The humidity is overwhelming, causing us to sweat as soon as the door is opened, and the dryness is enough to cause droughts and furious forest fires. But ironically, it is the most loved season of all! Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Join 29...

Anger’s Cost | Jenna's Words

Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; Leave a comment. There is barely room on the walls of the heart for hate,. Yet in all the world around us, it’s a common trait. Envy and thirst for revenge become an invisible weight. There’s pain enough already; anger’s the last thing we need. If tossed around casually, more than you know will bleed. It only takes love and forgiveness, but we’re driven by greed. Why do we feel the need to constantly fight? Is it simply an attempt to prove our might? Larr; Previous post.

Posted by Jenna Mathews. Asymp; Leave a comment. I know, this is a day late, and isn’t really a poem, but my teacher wanted it written in this format and just had us write about 30 things we’re thankful for. Enjoy! The long, late-night conversations with my parents. The loving and understanding family I have. Mom’s corny jokes. Good books that you can’t put down. The missionaries that make church and youth activities so much more fun. My brother’s sweet innocence. Dad’s attempts to make me smile. Enter y...
