History of Crispie Estate. Crispie House was originally the Dower House for the Nichol family who owned Ardmarnoch Estate for generations up until the 1980’s. During the Second World War the house was used to train the Norwegian Commandos who went back to Norway to destroy the German Heavy Water (used in their nuclear weapons programme) factory which they were building. Some locals claim that Winston Churchill visited Crispie during the war.

Crispie books from Saturday at 4.00 pm to the following Saturday at 10.00 am and Crispie Lodge books from Friday at 4.00 pm to the following Friday at 10.00 am.
