Crocheting Chemist

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I know this blog has been quiet for quite awhile. I am happy to announce that my new pattern has been published in Interweave Crochet Spring 2010. I am excited that it is finally out and I can share this. I wanted to create visual interest in Tunisian entrelac, so the alternate rows are negative space. I love that it is all done in one continuous piece so that there are only two ends to weave in. Enjoy. Monday, May 4, 2009. Monday, March 16, 2009. March is National Crochet Month.

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008/07/my-summer-cardigan.html

Friday, July 11, 2008. I finally finished my summer cardigan- and it's still summer! It's lovely, nice work! July 11, 2008 at 1:07 PM. Very pretty, and it looks soft. July 11, 2008 at 2:25 PM. So Lovely. Nice work! July 11, 2008 at 6:25 PM. Very nice - looks like a great fit. I'm guessing that's a nice weight for your (fabulous) climate too. July 13, 2008 at 3:04 PM. I love your cardigan. Crocheting Chemist: Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008/02/very-versatile-vertical-striped-hat.html

Thursday, February 28, 2008. Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat. OK back to the pattern, I made this using the leftover yarn from the spiral felted bag. Hence the Chocolate Raspberry Delight. Then I tested the pattern in toddler size and had to come up with a new name, so Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat it is, or VVV or (Ver) 3 for short. I love your vertical striped hats! The pink and brown is fab.of course I have a thing for pink and brown together! March 5, 2008 at 2:17 PM. Endress Hauser is reco...

Crocheting Chemist: Updates galor

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008/10/updates-galor.html

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. For my daughter's birthday I crocheted a small doll for her, and then my mom helped me make a cake to match the doll. She likes her doll, and loved her cake. One nice thing about frosting a crocheted cake, is that you don't need a steady hand, because you want it to have lots of texture to mimic the stitches. Love the baby outfit and the sweater but that doll and cake are really, really special! November 1, 2008 at 4:27 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A nurse who knits.

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Monday, March 18, 2013. Disaster and a Cardboard Jungle. This past weekend was Knit Camp. What is Knit Camp? It is what is sounds like, a sleep away camp, with cabins and a mess hall! Knit Camp itself was fun and I'm still glad I went. Crochet in Wonderland: Drafting the Pattern

http://crochetinwonderland.blogspot.com/2008/11/drafting-pattern.html

Thursday, November 6, 2008. I'm making some diapers for Belle. Right now I'm drafting the pattern according to these. Directions. I don't have a lot of flannel right now and I'm not sure where my regular elastic is so I'm just going to make a few AIOs. Next week I'm going to buy more supplies and I'll make some fitteds and some covers, mainly because that will then enable me to crochet some soakers! I finally found my camera so I'll update with pictures when I'm done. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, July 14, 2008. I know it's been a while, but with school and everything I've been pretty busy. I've crocheted some stuff, but really nothing to post about. This is a kitten I made for my cousin Sasha upon request. The link to the pattern is here. I sort of had trouble sewing the eyes, I don't have any buttons here (I'm in Moscow for the summer) and while I'm sure I can buy some somewhere, I've been trying to get better at sewing. Over all it was a pretty easy pattern, I recommend it. I guess I ha...
