Pammie's Knitting Journal: August 2009

http://pammiesknits.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Thursday, August 27, 2009. Not a long yarn. So I haven't been doing much knitting lately. The TV and computer have kept my attention lately. Even though I usually enjoy knitting and watching TV at the same time, I've just been sitting and watching. I am still working on the scarf I started using the yarn I bought in England. I am still working on the Better-be-easy shawl. I have dipped int...

Pammie's Knitting Journal: I'm Your Private Knitter

http://pammiesknits.blogspot.com/2013/03/im-your-private-knitter.html

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Saturday, March 2, 2013. I'm Your Private Knitter. Sung to the tune of Tina Turner's "Private Dancer"). All them come in the yarn store. And they are all the same. You don't look at their faces. And you only ask their names. You appreciate them as human. You take projects from them all. You keep your mind on the money. Keeping your eyes on the yarn. I'll knit what you want me to do. Living...

Pammie's Knitting Journal: October 2009

http://pammiesknits.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Friday, October 23, 2009. So, I was finally able to step outside my apartment for the first time since, Monday? I had a dermatologist appointment, not too mention the fact that I was on my last roll of toilet paper and 2 cans of Diet Coke. Now if I could just grow some more arms so I can knit more than one project at a time before Christmas.I might get everything done. That's about it real...

http://pammiesknits.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Saturday, November 6, 2010. I finished a whole sweater in 2 days! No really a WHOLE, ENTIRE sweater.see:. OKso it is a small, little sweater that could fit a Barbie doll, but a complete sweater it is! I made it for my craft swap.we are exchanging Christmas ornaments and this is mine. I'd like to find a little clothes hanger for it to hang by. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A nurse who knits.

On: March 2, 2009. 2 Responses to "Chiropractor". March 2, 2009 at 8:02 pm. March 3, 2009 at 5:25 pm. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my chiro! He helped me turn my life around from overweight, sedentary (un-ABLE to exercise properly), and sleepless, to slim, active, and actually sleeping. Those kinks in the spine sap your mobility and energy a little at a time and create a vicious interrelated cycle of decline. HEALTH is a good cycle that, when continued, keeps getting better! CALM and other magnesium supplements | Viva Sano Canti

LDM-100: The Wonder Non-drug. CALM and other magnesium supplements. On: September 22, 2009. Also aids in calcium absorption and can also helps with depression.I think liquid forms are more easily absorbed by the body which is why I don’t take magnesium supplement in a hard to digest pill form. I do take multivitamins in pill form that are not synthetic because liquid vitamins taste a lot like the chewables we all had as kids. (I don’t care for that taste). I recommend the Natural Calm with the calcium.

The Chronic Pain Illness | Viva Sano Canti

https://latda.wordpress.com/2009/02/24/the-chronic-pain-illness

The Chronic Pain Illness. On: February 24, 2009. As I’ve said before I developed a migraine headache issue in college with stress being the largest trigger. Like most fellow sufferers, I learned to live with them, pop some pills with a strong dose of caffeine and just hope for the best. This seemed to work until my second full time teaching job. Please note I am a horrible speller and am sure I have misspelled countless medication names. 1 Response to "The Chronic Pain Illness". You certainly went throug...

Crocheting Chemist: Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008/02/very-versatile-vertical-striped-hat.html

Thursday, February 28, 2008. Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat. OK back to the pattern, I made this using the leftover yarn from the spiral felted bag. Hence the Chocolate Raspberry Delight. Then I tested the pattern in toddler size and had to come up with a new name, so Very Versatile Vertical Striped Hat it is, or VVV or (Ver) 3 for short. I love your vertical striped hats! The pink and brown is fab.of course I have a thing for pink and brown together! March 5, 2008 at 2:17 PM. Endress Hauser is reco...

Crocheting Chemist: Updates galor

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008/10/updates-galor.html

Wednesday, October 15, 2008. For my daughter's birthday I crocheted a small doll for her, and then my mom helped me make a cake to match the doll. She likes her doll, and loved her cake. One nice thing about frosting a crocheted cake, is that you don't need a steady hand, because you want it to have lots of texture to mimic the stitches. Love the baby outfit and the sweater but that doll and cake are really, really special! November 1, 2008 at 4:27 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A nurse who knits.

Crocheting Chemist: March is National Crochet Month

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2009/03/march-is-national-crochet-month.html

Monday, March 16, 2009. March is National Crochet Month. In this flat tapestry crochet, I am working in the back loop only on one row and then front loop only on the following row. This is my first tapestry crochet project using three colors at once, and it is going pretty well. I have also been working on and off on some socks using the "Origami Turkish Socks" pattern by Deb Burger in the CLF book. I am working on them simultaneously, doing 6 rows on one then six rows on the other. San Diego, California.

Crocheting Chemist: August 2008

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Wash cloth for Baby. I know a lot of people that have had or are having babies this year- like over 20. I have been busy making baby gifts for them. Here is a simple pattern for a washcloth or burpcloth for baby. A wash cloth will get a bit more use than a hat, and it is distinctive from the other washcloths, so it can be easily recognized as Baby's cloth. I used mercerized cotton, Butterfly Super 10, about 1/2 of a ball. Gauge: 18 st/ 4" and 17 rows/ 4". San Diego, California.

Crocheting Chemist: April 2010

http://crochetingchemist.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. I know this blog has been quiet for quite awhile. I am happy to announce that my new pattern has been published in Interweave Crochet Spring 2010. I am excited that it is finally out and I can share this. I wanted to create visual interest in Tunisian entrelac, so the alternate rows are negative space. I love that it is all done in one continuous piece so that there are only two ends to weave in. Enjoy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). San Diego, California. View my complete profile.

This is a blog for my friends and family that live far away from me, but are always asking about what I am knitting! Monday, March 18, 2013. Disaster and a Cardboard Jungle. This past weekend was Knit Camp. What is Knit Camp? It is what is sounds like, a sleep away camp, with cabins and a mess hall! Knit Camp itself was fun and I'm still glad I went.
