We had been told by multiple people that Athens was a dump; that we should see the Acropolis and then get out as fast as possible. Needless to say, we went in with low expectations. Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. June 14-18th, 2014. We hiked up to the waterfall, and through tunnels in the rock walls you can actually hike directly behind it. This proved to be a wet exercise; there was mist everywhere and water streaming down the tunnels. Truthfully, we're not entirely sure it was worth it! Just another WordPress site. Day 28 – Rhine River & Castles. July 22, 2011. Today was fantastic. A great finish to our trip! We took a ferry up the Rhine river and saw a number of castles sitting up on mountain tops. Very cool stuff! We took the train back to Bacharack, grabbed dinner and decided to get lots of sleep. Friday, March 12, 2010. I finally came back to TX from SD where the funeral was. Many have said that they have never been at a funeral where there was so much laughter! I am now at Greg's house, perhaps going to other sons etc. the next few weeks and trusting Jesus to lead me where He wants me. Being without my mate is certainly not easy. Sunday, November 19, 2017. This little man tried out baseball this fall. He wasn't the most eager player. He was interested in the dirt and running around, but the whole game idea was not his thing. He did enjoy the medal he earned and baseball mitt he was able to get.
