Saturday, August 1, 2015. A summer staple here for us is going to the Stapleton Fountains. Ever since Cedric could crawl, we have spent summer evenings playing in the fountains. This week was the first time Quinn really loved crawling around. I noticed how similar they looked crawling around and it just made me so excited to see similar experiences in their lives already. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. A few weeks ago, we spent a week with my family on a lake near Bellingham, Washington. It was perfect and quite beautiful. The house we rented was right on the water. We spent the week exploring, swimming, and going in the boats. One night we left all three kids with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to dinner, got ice cream, and Steph and I went to get our toes painted. It was a nice night out. Nanny reading books with Hazel and Cedric. Look at the view! A family picture :).

Tuesday, June 17, 2014. 18 Holes of Disc Golf. This past Saturday we drove a half hour to meet up with 2 of Tyler's co-workers in the morning to play disc golf. Cody did great in the stroller the entire time and the boys loved finding all sorts of treasures along the way. Friday, March 20, 2015. Some friends of ours invited us to spend the weekend at Beaver's Bend and share a cabin with them and their 4 kids! It was so so much fun to get away for a short time. The lake was beautiful! The weather was a bit rainy and drizzly but not enough to stop us from having fun. Of course the first item of business to take care of was throwing rocks in the lake. Unlike my other kids, Cody was not afraid of the water one bit! Austin learned to paddle by himself. They are just too cute.

Friday, March 12, 2010. I finally came back to TX from SD where the funeral was. Many have said that they have never been at a funeral where there was so much laughter! I am now at Greg's house, perhaps going to other sons etc. the next few weeks and trusting Jesus to lead me where He wants me. Being without my mate is certainly not easy.
