New Mexico Sites
Here are some of the sites that are available in New Mexico. There are many places to visit. It includes old Indian ruins, missions, abandonded ranches and amazing scenery. Iguazu Falls, Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina

In Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. The Iguazu fall on the border of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. It is one of the seven wonders of the worlds. It is the where the Paraguay and Igauzu Rivers join. The surrounding area is the south eastern corner of the Rain Forest. This walk way is on the Brazil side of the falls looking onto the Argentina side of the falls. The walk leads you to "la garganta del el diablo". This is the row of falls on the Argentina side - strating with "Las dos hermanas".
Aberdour Castle

CGarner and P.Wright. August 14, 1997. Map Ref: NT 193 854. Aberdour has undergone several changes over the centuries. The original tower house was built in the 12th century, with the central range added in the 16th century and finally the gallery and stable added in 18th century. The stable was very large and probably housed six horses. An inventory of household contents showed this was a very prosperous estate in 1647 but by 1675, the estate was on the decline. CGarner and P.Wright. While we driving around Scotland we found that radio reception was pretty spotty. So, desperate for music, we found Moira Kerr's. Celtic Soul" tape in one of the tourist shops. This turned out to be an excellent choice and we listened to it over and over. Moira does a beautiful version of the song "Dark Isle" on the album and that was the inspiration for our site name.

Recumbant circle in the middle of a field. Close to Culloden battlefield. Chambered cairn with partial passageways. Small diameter but big stones. Cairn - Chambered cairn with top open to the air. Monument - Erected in 1956 to commemorate Battle of Culblean. Ancient stone circle with cairns. 2000 year old cellar. Bronze age circle and cairn.

Built by the Wallaces of Dundonald. About ready to fall down but beautiful. Located on the banks of the River Tay. Holiday home for the royals. Located in Glen Fiddich. Still inhabited by the Campbells of Barcaldine. Built to house English soldiers. Ruins, not much left. Mary Queen of Scots made a visit here. Also called Conzie Castle.
