CGarner and P.Wright. While we driving around Scotland we found that radio reception was pretty spotty. So, desperate for music, we found Moira Kerr's. Celtic Soul" tape in one of the tourist shops. This turned out to be an excellent choice and we listened to it over and over. Moira does a beautiful version of the song "Dark Isle" on the album and that was the inspiration for our site name.

Built by the Wallaces of Dundonald. About ready to fall down but beautiful. Located on the banks of the River Tay. Holiday home for the royals. Located in Glen Fiddich. Still inhabited by the Campbells of Barcaldine. Built to house English soldiers. Ruins, not much left. Mary Queen of Scots made a visit here. Also called Conzie Castle.
