Friday, September 26, 2008. Both drivers were doing the right thing. We really were very blessed. There are still over half a million people without power. There are still unknown numbers of people with no homes left at all. I try real hard to remember this when I feel like complaining. Saturday, September 20, 2008. More pictures from Ike. Sunday, August 8, 2010. First of all Happy Birthday wishes to Dan and Art. Elizabeth woke me and asked if I had put Candi to bed as she heard something from the other room. Sure enough Candi was under our bed. I got everyone back in their correct location and went back to sleep. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. On July 26 we closed on our new house. Sunday, December 15, 2013. What in the world have we been doing? Well here is an update. Last week end our new town had their Christmas parade. Typical small town America. The parade included floats and marching bands. Also represented were groups like scouts, JROTC and high school cheer leaders. There was also a group from of "Grannies" from the local nursing home. Sunday, February 15, 2009. I was just looking at my blog and I did not realize I had not updated it since Dad died. So here is the condensed version. Once we were done I went to my sisterâ s house. Before we called it a night we wrote a eulogy for the next day. By the time I got to bed it had been a very long day. On Saturday we got up to find it had snowed over night. It was a very nice service. That afternoon back at Momâ s we played Euchre. It was a fun afternoon even if I was the big loser.

Sunday, September 26, 2010. Yesterday when I first got up, I always wake up before Elizabeth; I had one last job to do related to our recent telecommunication change. I had to connect a newly delivered router. This allowed us to cut the cable and use our computer and printer wirelessly. It was fairly straight forward but there seems to be one problem. If the printer is idle for too long the network does not recognize it. I try to print something and I get a communication error. Her birthday is mid October.
