We requested a mediation with our school district (a special meeting where a mediator from outside the district is brought in to help us all come to an agreement). Our only dispute was on placement, as we have always felt our team has done a great job on inclusion and goals and services for Cooper. We are so incredibly relieved. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. In our 6 years of Cooper, we have met quite our share of doctors, nurses, and specialists. Some good, some.ummmm. not so good. But those good ones. You hoard them like jelly beans at Easter. You stalk them and learn what days they work. You ask (or demand, whatever) for them as soon as you check in.
