And since the squirrels get all the walnuts exactly 11 seconds after they're ready, I thought it was the only real way to get any of them at all - that is, pick them when they're nice and green and appear to be of no use at all. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. I lost my desire to post, to take pictures, and to futz around with new recipes - maybe the winter blahs? Now I am actually feeling like I could start running again - I know! Well, maybe anyway. In the meantime, and maybe directly related, I am making puff pastry in 7# batches on the sheeter! Forgot to take pics the last time I baked some but it came up perfectly - golden brown and even. Magical stuff. Ok, so you came to Phoenix and didn't let me know! So good to see her back!
