We hadn't seen them (except his folks and Rachelle) since we'd moved up to Alaska! So we were SUPER excited to see everybody and show Smith all his cousins and aunts and uncles. Thursday, May 13, 2010. On April 28, I ended up going into the hospital, thinking I was in labor (2 minute apart contractions are supposed to mean labor, right? At my regular doctor's appointment the next day, my (wonderful) doctor told me that if I was still pregnant by May 12, she'd induce me. At least at that point, there was an end in sight! We get to the hospital a little after 1:00, and a while later, find out I'm over 7 cm, so this baby is definately coming today! No cone head or yellow baby for m...

Monday, December 6, 2010. We got our Christmas tree up this last week, and my house smells GOOD! Smith only notices there's a big tree in the room when I turn the lights on. We tried to get some Christmas card-worthy pictures last night, and this is what we came away with. And the rest of these are just for fun. He's just learned to sit up on his own this week, and it's great! He's looking so grown-up! Our friends are letting us use their circle-of-fun baby toy and Smith loves it! He IS getting big!

Monday, November 1, 2010. As many of you may know, Halloween is NOT my holiday. I'd much rather skip ahead and put my focus on more savory things, like Thanksgiving. But, costume or not, we did take a couple of pictures before our Halloween-eve outings. I also thought I'd just throw in some recent pictures of the star of our family. Smith is doing really well these days. He is getting so playful, which is a blast. And he just talks, talks, talks, and I LOVE it! Notice his nice, healthy, pudge of a belly.

Next time I totally will! To watch at least. It was so HOT that day. I think I got heat exhaustion or something and some ridiculous tan lines because I got splattered with mud and then sunburnt! Sean, Melanie and lil Z. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Being pregnant definitely has ups and downs. I absolutely LOVE feeling and watching my baby move. The best thing ever! At night Sean and I would just watch my belly move back and forth. So crazy! On the other hand, being sick and tired and not being able to sleep is not so fun. But worth it! I had several baby showers and everyone was so nice and we got basically everything we needed and more for the baby! Angela threw me a shower for the Brown family!

I am Hepatitis A - Tyhpoid - Malaria vaccinated. Mosquito net, air mattress, battery powered fan (with LOTS of extra batteries) and loads of coloring books, stickers, play-doh, and other crafty things are ready to go! Monday, March 31, 2014. Best games of the season. We had basketball at 10am and soccer at 2:15pm. The girls did amazing at both games. Ava had several break aways at basketball and scored 5 shots. Grace was a beast on offense and deffense. She scored 3 shots. Soccer was a great game for all the girls on the team. Several had their best game of the season.
