The Adventures of Devin and Maggie: July 2007
http://devinandmaggie.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Devin and Maggie. Follow us from Baja to Alaska and beyond! Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Alaska Highway: Entering the Yukon. Road from Liard to Teslin. Soon after we left Liard Hot Springs, we saw a large herd of bison grazing along the highway. Mostly cows and calves. We had seen "watch for bison" signs, and they weren't kidding! Walking north. The mystery deepens! Finally we got to the official border crossing and stopped to take our obligatory photo of the sign - "Welcome to North of 60" ...
The Adventures of Devin and Maggie: Crossing into Canada
http://devinandmaggie.blogspot.com/2007/07/crossing-into-canada.html
The Adventures of Devin and Maggie. Follow us from Baja to Alaska and beyond! Saturday, July 14, 2007. I want to be Canadian. I'm mad at Devin for not becoming a Canadian citizen when he had a chance - when he was married to Maple! If he had become a Canadian citizen then, I could now, and we could move to Vancouver! Canadians just seem. generally less insane than Americans. Canada is so neat and, well,. And beautiful - the Canadian Rockies are Gorrrrrgeous! We bought some smoked salmon - yum! So, since ...

The Adventures of Devin and Maggie. Follow us from Baja to Alaska and beyond! Monday, July 16, 2007. Jasper to Dawson Creek. As we left Wabasso campground, on our way up to Jasper, we saw a bear right on the side of the road - I even got a photo. Our first photo of a bear! While we are enjoying these beautiful parks and the Canadian Rockies, we are anxious to continue on with our journey. You see, Canada is nice - nice and expensive! Gas is over $4/gallon here! Just kidding. I really regret not takin...

The Adventures of Devin and Maggie: April 2007
http://devinandmaggie.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Devin and Maggie. Follow us from Baja to Alaska and beyond! Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Day Twenty Three, Saturday, April 7: San Quintin to San Diego. Today we decided to make a run for the border, left quite early, and headed north once again. Up to Ensenada we passed through familiar, yet unfamiliar territory. We both only vaguely remembered the scenery, farms, and towns from this section – I think we were both more focused on the white-knuckle driving before! One section we both remembe...

Naturally Geeky ramblings about web design. Update on my project site. Anyway, back to my “project” site – I’ve been going through all these old FrontPage generated pages and cleaning them up, separating content and style and behavior by adding stylesheets and javascript and php includes, making them all validate strict xhtml – it’s quite satisfying, actually. I’m also learning a ton by doing this. Like the joys of the .htaccess redirects – ha. Here it is – comments, feedback, ideas appreciated:. Php inc...

Naturally Geeky ramblings about web design. I was hoping to move posts about what I am learning in class to this page, but so far I haven’t figured it out. I want all my posts to show up on the home page, but to be able to look at individual pages for specific kinds of post. I know I can do this with a WordPress.org using templates (because I just saw it on the screencast from CSS-Tricks! So I thought I’d be able to do it here, too. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Devin & Liz
Monday, November 4, 2013. After being fully recovered from our not-so-fun car troubles,. Devin was itching to climb. About a month ago, he took me on one heck of a climbing adventure. We climbed to the top of this baby, with 3 pitches. I believe this was after the first pitch. What a hunk this man is. And good thing I trust him with my life. Getting the rope ready for the next pitch. This was the second pitch.not even to the top yet! Climbing this beast became more like shimmying,. Picture in a crack!

Devin & Liz | Our adventure together
Lead, kindly Light, amid th’encircling gloom, lead Thou me on! The night is dark, and I am far from home; lead Thou me on! Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see. The distant scene; one step enough for me. I was not ever thus, nor prayed that Thou shouldst lead me on;. I loved to choose and see my path; but now lead Thou me on! I loved the garish day, and, spite of fears,. Pride ruled my will. Remember not past years! So long Thy power hath blest me, sure it still will lead me on. Life is like a puzzle.

The Adventures of Devin and Maggie. Follow us from Baja to Alaska and beyond! Sunday, July 13, 2014. Today the Moho went off with its new owners! A sad but good day, since we weren't using it much any more, and the new owners are very excited about it! Well, we weren't rolling any more, and we were definitely gathering "moss"! We may be RV-less for a while, too. Or we may get something inexpensive to tide us over, like a little trailer. We'll see. See you down the road. Links to this post. A lot has happ...

Our Familys Favorite Books. Monday, June 29, 2015. Historically, our dating life was at its peak before 2008. Throughout our married life, Devin and I have been terrible daters. But sometimes. Anniversary and birthdays we usually remember, and if there is an event happening (sporting game, holiday party) then we get a few hours out on the town. And I have to say, I'm getting better at planning dates. :-). We had a fun anniversary date. On June 7 we hit our seven year mark! Then Newsies came to town!
