Rants from the most trusted profession. It had the makings of a perfect fairy tale story:. On 10/6/2014, the DEA made all hydrocodone-containing products C2. No more refills, no more phone-ins, no more faxes. Hard copy (or EPCS e-scripts) only please. A day known as C-Day, Norpocalypse. A day where millions of crackheads screamed out in withdraws, and were suddenly silenced. Oh, probably because you can’t justify the bucket-load of Norco you shovel at them to get them out of your office. This will cure o...

Rants from the most trusted profession. The FDA obviously hates the public and needs to lay off the crack pipe. Submitted by a shitpot full of people, the FDA has gotten this wonderful idea to allow people (read: idiots) to buy Rx prescriptions OTC using a kiosk rather than a Doctor to issue the Rx. Http:/ www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/apr/29/fda-may-let-patients-buy-drugs-without-prescriptio/? Lets take a journal into sarcastic TAP-land:. I think this is a completely fucking great idea! A look over the counter's shoulder into retail pharmacy. The FDA released a statement on Apr. 8 saying that birth control pills that contain the hormone drospirenone like Yaz, Yasmin, Ocella, and many more put patients at a higher risk for having blood clots, which is a side effect to all birth control pills. From: http:/ www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/fda-orders-blood-clot-risks-added-birth-control-labels-article-1.1059922. With a progesterone, of which there are many types. Life As I Know It. Monday, May 23, 2011. She's A Toddler Now. Hayden had her 1 year appointment a few of weeks ago. We got to skip the vaccines during the appointment seeing how she was running a 102 degree fever. Another little gem of a virus I'm sure she probably picked up at daycare. At the rate she's going she's gonna have one heck of an immune system by the time she's 2. Or at least I hope. Her stats were as follows:. Weight: 20lbs. Even. 30%. Length: 29 and 1/2" inch. 55%. It Was. Awesome. View my ...

http://tonyajeans.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Life As I Know It. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Easter Birthday Party Weekend. A friend of mine pointed out that Easter was last on April 24th in 1859 and it won't be on April 24th again until 2095, adding just a little more extra special-ness to Hayden's first Birthday! Since her Birthday fell on the holiday we decided to celebrate on Saturday the 23rd instead. We had BEAUTIFUL weather (especially considering we woke up to an inch of snow just the day before the party! Click on Collage to Enlarge. Just feet...

Lovely, CPhT: Finally, a day off
http://thelovelytech.blogspot.com/2009/06/finally-day-off.html
Thursday, June 25, 2009. Finally, a day off. Most people start to get a little cranky after they've worked several days in a row without a day off in between. Sooner or later you reach that breaking point where every little annoyance rapidly adds up until you're completely insane, and once you've told a patient to take that prescription and shove it up his ass, there's no turning back. Here are some highlights from the past two weeks:. THERE'S A WASP IN MY CAR! Celebrating "Z-pak Day," "A/B Otic Day" and...

Retail Pharmacy, Life, and General Lunacy: November 2010
http://pharmacymike.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Retail Pharmacy, Life, and General Lunacy. Thursday, November 18, 2010. I took the suggestions of friends and readers who commented on my posts. I made what many self-help gurus would say were healthy attempts at picking up the pieces of my life and moving on. However, no matter how hard I tried, my life always came crashing right back to square one. I know. I struggled with it for a long time. It's hard to come up with a reason to go on when you don't believe there's any real point to all of thi...The f...

I've been wanting to write it for a week now, but I've been putting it off for various reasons. Anyway. I was going insane. She listened for about 30 seconds before saying, "well, just be happy you have a job." You see, wor...
