Eating as I Go: Mishaps

http://eatingasigo.blogspot.com/2010/02/mishaps.html

Friday, February 26, 2010. I realize that I haven't posted here in a while. Do forgive me. Between working on stuff for Get Trained. At the Austin Stone. And going on a diet. For about eight days, my cooking has been quite boring. On the diet, it was salads, rice, beans, and more salads. Off the diet, let's just say we have been eating a lot of turkey sandwiches and frozen pizza at my house. I'm a flip flopper. I finally got the time and the energy to make some potatoes au gratin. Mid 20s eating enthusia...

Eating as I Go: Community Supported Agriculture

http://eatingasigo.blogspot.com/2010/03/community-supported-agriculture.html

Sunday, March 14, 2010. The concept is like this: you buy a membership to a local farm. In exchange for your membership fee, you receive a box of the farm's yield every week. It sounds simple, but this concept is literally changing the face of agriculture in our country and making local, sustainable produce possible. We recently renewed our CSA with Johnson's Backyard Garden. Article from Sunday's Austin American Statesman. Lots of treasures to be found inside. Fresh spinach. Used this. I think, I think.

Eating as I Go: Easy Apple Crisp

http://eatingasigo.blogspot.com/2010/01/easy-apple-crisp.html

Friday, March 5, 2010. We went to a fantastic new restaurant ( Perla's. On South Congress) recently on the basis of having a gift card. We normally wouldn't gravitate toward a seafood restaurant, but really. Enjoyed what we ate. Travis courageously ordered a baked whole fish, and I got an amazing white fish (I think it was halibut) in a tomato-based broth. We started with tuna tartare in the spirit of ordering things at a restaurant that we don't know how to cook at home(or, not cook, I guess). Caramel s...

Eating as I Go: Adventures in Cooking: A Trip to the ER and Why I Started this Blog

http://eatingasigo.blogspot.com/2009/12/adventures-in-cooking-trip-to-er-and.html

Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Adventures in Cooking: A Trip to the ER and Why I Started this Blog. A couple of weeks ago, on a Tuesday night, I cut my finger on a tin can and had to go to the emergency room to get four stitches. After I cut myself, in a state of more annoyance than anything else, I had to call Travis to come and take me to the ER. When he walked in the door from work, one of the first things out of his mouth was, "what on earth are you making? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life with Lori: wedding overload

http://annholland.blogspot.com/2010/08/wedding-overload.html

Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Wedding planning has officially overtaken my brain. it is all i think about lately. I passed by a large replica of the Constitution in my law school atrium, and immediately wondered who wrote it and more importantly, if i could pay them to address my invitations with their elegant handwriting. I dream about our wedding day at least twice a week. 8230;i need a break! Luckily, i am home for the week and have been able to get some stuff done- with some free time left this trip so...

Thursday, January 28, 2010. There is only one explanation I can think of for my feeling the symptoms even before he did, for my waking up to his call in the middle of the night, and for knowing immediately what was wrong (since i have already been there, felt that) when he called.we're soulmates. :). http://annholland.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 30, 2009. Fall break= complete bliss. In more exciting news from the weekend, Erik made his big Mississippi debut over the weekend! I know we didn't win, but the atmosphere the entire day on campus was unlike anything i have seen in Starkville in a VERY long time.SO much excitement and support! Dan truly is the MAN.
