Eating with Elaine

Wednesday, July 18, 2012. This is so easy and sooooooo good! 2 squared unsweetened chocolate. 3 tablespoons light corn syrup. 1 1/2 cups sugar. Add chocolate mixture and mix well. Pour into unbanked pie shell. Bake at 340 for 25 or 30 minutes. Do not overbake, it should shake like custard. Serve with sweetened whipping cream. Try just whipping your cream to a gravy consistency and then added 2 tbs sugar and a tsp vanilla. I love the soft creamy consistency versus a stiff whipped cream. This is soooo good!

These are worth the effort, not low calorie, yet divine! 1 cup sour cream. 1/2 cup butter, melted. 2 pkg dry yeast. 1/2 cup warm water. 2 eggs, beaten. Eating With Eddie | Ed Schoenfeld

The personal site of Ed Schoenfeld. Ed Schoenfeld is a pioneering restaurateur who cooks up cutting-edge culinary concepts and transforms them into successful dining destinations. Ed worked with the team behind Lure Fish Bar and Joe’s Pub to create a 250-seat restaurant in NoHo that tweaked standard American Chinese specialities like spare ribs and orange beef into upscale specialties in an atmosphere that invoked a cross between a Shanghai brasserie in the 1930s. edie's eats | a "common-sense-genius" approach to all things food.

A common-sense-genius approach to all things food. July 30, 2012. It just takes a little bit of practice, like anything else. The spinach filling is jazzed up with the addition of feta and golden raisins, which give it a nice sweetness in contrast to the savory garlic and spinach. Other great additions to round out this meal include roasted eggplant dip. Celery and orange salad. And melon with honeyed yogurt. Which all come from the June 2009 Everyday Food magazine! Adapted from Martha Stewart. Place log...

Eating with Elsa | cooking through my quarter-life

Cooking through my quarter-life. Will you eat with me? January 24, 2014. My recent trip Seattle unleashed my inner foodie to its full potential and inspired me to experiment more in my own kitchen. It’s always great to eat great on a vacation and then come home to try to replicate some of the flavors you experienced on your trip. So here is my quick shrimp pasta with pesto dish for one. 1/4 pound of shrimp, peeled and de-veined. Handful of whole wheat linguini. 1 medium garlic clove grated or minced.

Eating with Elsie

About Eating with Elsie. May 26, 2015. A surprise hit here in our baby, vegetarian and and waistline friendly line up. I decided to try using lentils instead of quorn in an attempt to decrease the amount of processed food we eat. Honestly, I expected it to be sh*t. It was actually OK. In fact Elsie couldn’t get enough! Recipe for Lentil Bolognaise. 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped. Large punnet of mushrooms (500g). 3 cans chopped tomatoes. 2 Tbsp tomato purée. 500g red lentils rinsed. February 2, 2015.

Eating With Emily

An 11 year old's take on where to eat. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Everyone knows how much I love Dessert Delights. I was thrilled to discover that there are three new flavors! Lemon Square, Rootbeer Float and Rainbow Sherbet. I have tried them all and they definitely taste like you are eating dessert. But without the sugar or calories! Do as I do, and ignore your thoughts about the chemicals it takes to taste so real. Instead, sit back, chew the gum, and enjoy the show. Thank me later. Links to this post.
