Mar 1, 2015. 02/23/15 Working Hard for the Last 9 Weeks of 2 Years. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to send an email to y’all last week – no internet! Well that happens sometimes but, I’m perfectly fine health-wise! It’s good that the siblings are doing well and having fun together – like you said I’m excited to join in when I get back. They’re planning to be baptized on the 21st of March. We have some other amis that are preparing for baptism, but we need to iron out some problems. I’ve noticed that e...

ELDER JULIUS JOHNSON: 01/05/15 Some Weeks
http://elderjuliusmilesjohnson.blogspot.com/2015/03/010515-some-weeks.html
Mar 1, 2015. Some weeks are stressful as a missionary. Especially when working as Elder Cook put it, "On the front lines, where the pickings are slim and you (the missionaries) are all we got.". And then.we waited. Waited for the truck and further direction. To our surprise, we learned that the new building in Bali (a neighborhood) was not yet open. The old renters had yet to leave! Well, where are we putting everything? For the time being, we’re holding church in a hotel! Hotel Piano. We rented out ...

Monday, November 30, 2015. Next letter will be from Panama.finally! It's Christmastime at the MTC! This will probably be my last email before I leave. I get to the train station at like 5 tomorrow morning, so expect a call between 6 and 9. Sleeping off too much Thanksgiving dinner. My last "Passing Down". She said you can’t leave your windows or doors open for long or giant snakes and monkeys and wild dogs get in your house—ha-ha—so I am stoked for that. Been up since two dropping of Farley and Rogers fo...

http://eldertaylorgreen.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 25, 2016. It is so cool that the gospel is here! We’re back on Nargana. (That’s why he’s able to email today.). How long have I been out here? There’s literally no sense of time here. People usually don’t even know what day it is, and neither do I. Our front yard.beach front property. Working on the Monte. The kids are legit wild children. They don’t wear clothes and they run around with sticks or on all fours most of the time. They chase iguanas up trees to eat them. The ...Saw two on the ...

http://eldertaylorgreen.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2016. I have never prayed harder that I wouldn’t get struck by lightning.". Sorry I didn’t email yesterday, we were gone all day. So lots happened this week. I had divisions in Nargana for two days at the beginning of the week. Nothing happened there but I saw some big fish. So sick but so sketch! The best part of it was that everyone blamed the white people for bringing the storm because it doesn’t rain here that often. And fish is my favorite food right now. I think I’ve eat...Anyways...

Dos Años: "...when it comes to sharing the gospel we shouldn't be afraid of sharing it with potentially sketchy people..."
http://eldertaylorgreen.blogspot.com/2016/12/when-it-comes-to-sharing-gospel-we.html
Monday, December 12, 2016. When it comes to sharing the gospel we shouldn't be afraid of sharing it with potentially sketchy people.". So yeah this area is pure hills. Hancock is still struggling but this is fun for me. It's all uphill here in Las Mananitas! Also I got sick again this week. Like super bad food poisoning. Totally nearabout passed out in the bathroom at church yesterday. I know it was some bacon I bought at a chino, but I'm back to normal. So my spiritual thought this week is that when it ...

ELDER JULIUS JOHNSON: May 2013
http://elderjuliusmilesjohnson.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
May 27, 2013. 05-27-13 Week 2 of 6 in the MTC. Hi Since Julius can't update the blog himself for the next 2 years, I'll post a weekly update using his email, and hopefully we'll get some pics soon. For those that may not know, missionaries are not allowed to be on social media. He can email me weekly and send letters to everyone. We are not sure how long letters will take to get here from Africa. Teaching the first vision went amazingly well. That seemed to do and help everything fall into place. On our ...

Aug 26, 2013. 08-26-2013 Danger, Will Robinson! I typed out a long email explaining our investigators, but it was lost in cyber space! So basically this week, in a nut shell – it’s been long - 7 lessons daily and working with really sick members who needed blessings. Helping baptismal candidates overcome word of wisdom. Problems (which was successful! Urlion got into a university in Gabon! All is truly well in Zion here! We are working hard and having a blast! I hope all is well at home for everyone!
