This old world ain't got no back door. Thursday, May 14, 2009. I was born a ramblin' (wo)man. At the Wicklow giftshop, I came across something that changed my life forever. There was a little rack of Winnie-the-Pooh stickers with names on them, so that children might pick out their own name and be able to slather all of their belongings with Tiggers and "This Belongs To " inscriptions. Off the Map: My Travels through Ireland. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Here I am, home again. Ireland feels like it could have been a dream… did I really spend five months in one of my favorite places in the world? I'm having trouble believing that I did such a thing. How do I feel? Tree lined Dublin Boulevard. Rory, with Sunflowers. Continuing my garden tour of Ireland, I traveled to Powerscourt, one of the most famous European gardens (and this one had a Palladian estate to boot! Peacock, Kew Gardens.
