Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Lindsay and Loren are Getting Married! Loren arranged (with a lot of white-lie telling from me) to have Lindsay come to So. Cal. for a "surprise". I got her here with the pretense of watching the twins while Kirk and I went to Las Vegas to see Garth Brooks. It worked perfectly! I picked up Loren from the airport at noon, we finished last minute preparations so when Lindsay came home with Kirk that night - Loren was all neatly "wrapped up" with the biggest surprise of her life!

Friday, May 14, 2010. It's amazing how one minute you're not and the next you are. The title of mother is granted in an instant with the first meeting. The stealing of your heart doesn't take much longer. There's an incredulous moment of, this is really flesh of my flesh. Then the instinct to nurture, to hold, to protect and to teach kick in and you're caught. You not only hold the title but you embrace it and enlarge it. Saturday, June 26, 2010. SOCCER - World Cup South Africa. So on Wednesday night I went to the Germany/Ghana game. I was SOOO excited. Ever since I was little I was routing for Germany so when I got a ticket to watch them play I was sooo pumped! Not only was this my first ever international soccer game but it was at the biggest and bestest stadium that was built specially for this world cup - SOCCER CITY. As the saying for this world cup goes, it was truly AYOBA! The teams singing their national anthems.
