Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Phonology is the study of how sound are used in a language. Phonology itself is just one part of the language. It is amazing to know that people do not used certain sounds such as the nasilation (46). I was impressed to read that phonemes are considered as phonetic of the mind. Monday, May 3, 2010. Listening to (and Saving) the World's languages. A) In the New York Times article, i saw that there were many different languages spoken in New York City. Aside, from this, i also read in the article that there are many languages that are disappearing. These disappearing languages are otherwised known as "dying languages."
