Sacred Salvage: 03.2008
http://sacredsalvage.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Ruthlessly rescued and inexplicably loved. My brain is swirling madly between college basketball (none of the colleges I attended mind you), actual college projects, taxes (oh how I hate them), wild work moments, and gastrointestinal extravaganzas. I want to see either KU or UNC win (I have to pull for my girl's team too). So needless to say, it will be tough to choose who to cheer for on Saturday. So, best wishes to everyone else with their March Madness. Hopefully all here in our household will win.

The Intense Traveler: June 2010
http://intensetraveler.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Just a few more klicks, then we can sleep…. Saturday, June 19, 2010. Rob review of a national treasure: the Baseball Hall of Fame. Speaking of cheaters, Pete Rose doesn’t have a plaque (keep it that way) but pictures of him exist in displays of the Big Red Machine of the '70s and Phillies teams from the early '80s. That’s appropriate but he’d better never get a plaque. One small placard does mention Giamatti’s decision to ban Rose from the game. National Baseball Hall of Fame. Friday, June 18, 2010.

Unnecessary Dramatics: November 2007
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. From me, to me. I tend to buy clothes for my nearest relations; I'm the only one who loves clothes, but everybody's gotta wear 'em. You'd think my gay (ballroom dancing) brother could put together an outfit, but he is woefully unskilled in that department. I'll have to haul him to the mall sometime soon and overhaul his collection of jeans, because they're truly tragic. Thursday, November 22, 2007. It's the first snow of the year. Rare blood. I've been reading. By Christophe...

Unnecessary Dramatics: we will still need a song
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2007/09/we-will-still-need-song.html
Friday, September 14, 2007. We will still need a song. No fantasy funeral is complete without a guest list! Anyway, by the time I'd gotten around to picking out some appropriate music (and then gotten distracted by remembering my favourite scenes from. I was feeling improved enough to relocate to the couch, and then soon to go on a chocolate run. The long and the short of it is, I'm still alive, but you're all invited to my funeral, whenever it may be. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Unnecessary Dramatics: July 2008
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 19, 2008. I’m sitting in my unair-conditioned apartment, checking Craigslist for writing/editing jobs, and it only just occurred to me that it was a completely unorganic and possibly ridiculous way to look for a job. I haven’t done anything that could prove to any objective person that I can write well; while I’ve been told I can, and I think I can as well, I have no concrete proof. Plus, I would need an entirely new wardrobe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The prospect of European adventures.

Unnecessary Dramatics: what good curse can you throw?
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2007/12/what-good-curse-can-you-throw.html
Sunday, December 02, 2007. What good curse can you throw? I'm drunk and salty (read: sassy and profane) tonight, so bear with me. I pretty much told off a bunch o' jerks from my past, and I'm feeling good. What a week. It seemed like it was going to be good, but then it trainwrecked; it evened out, in a trainwrecky way (hard to explain; bear with me), and here I am, drunk and blogging and angry. Did I mention that I wasn't invited? Can that guy get me some cheddar biscuits? Also, I hope you feel better.

Unnecessary Dramatics: June 2007

Saturday, June 30, 2007. In which I spoil Star Wars (so don't read if you've been living under a rock), and show how nerdy I am. Of course, at some point I wake up when I hear the DVD menu's soundtrack looping incessantly, and I have to crawl to the foot of my bed and turn off the player, but usually that doesn't wake me up enough to make it hard for me to fall back asleep immediately. Anyway, last night it was. Return of the Jedi. Return of the Jedi. Revenge of the Sith. For me. Also the "NOOOOooooo...

Unnecessary Dramatics: September 2007
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 24, 2007. Even you have to win sometimes, dear. News flash: It appears that working for seven days a week is not good for the psyche. And so I have decided to end my professional relationship with the Meat Palace. Anyway, since I'm quitting the MP, I'm looking forward to having a little spare time. I might even DATE. The world is my mollusk; the possibilities are endless (well, restricted to the two days off I'll have per week). Friday, September 14, 2007. We will still need a song.

Unnecessary Dramatics: August 2007
http://subutronia.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2007. I had to look for a vein. REAL HARD. GM: I make my own garlic bread. Just a little olive oil, minced garlic, and cracked pepper. ME: And bread, right? GM: Yes, otherwise it's. I don't like you anymore. I'm much too indecisive to have it. Also, I just don't know if I have the energy for a workplace fling. The last one trainwrecked. Also, I'm not that close with either of the two girls who know about it. C'est un tragedie. Sunday, August 26, 2007. I confess to being slightly unne...
