The Avila Team: March 2013
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. A few weeks ago, during homeschool one morning, Titus was hobbling around the house. He showed me his big toe and told me that he had put a bandage on his toe. This bandage is a blue rubber snake. I asked him, "Titus, what happened to your toe? He replied, "Oh, it's a long story." And then he was off. Thursday, March 21, 2013. Daddy and Alex Down South. Vince has felt called for the past three years, and finally decided he had to do it this year! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Avila Team: New Windows
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-windows.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. Day after Thanksgiving at Crown Center. Hiding and not wanting to do school. A couple weeks later we needed another window. While he looks like he's in pain, he's really just trying to show off his new smile with pride. The Tooth Fairy is broke. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Avila Team: Basketball Season
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2015/01/basketball-season.html
Monday, January 19, 2015. Alex is playing basketball for the first time. She is the only Avila who has ever had the desire to play this sport because it requires a lot of running. That activity is not something we enjoy. There are 17 girls on her team. We are so proud of her! It has been fun watching her play and get to know a lot of great girls. Alex has to be at the game an hour before so we've been making the most of it with some much needed park time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Avila Team: St. Louis
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2015/02/st-louis.html
Monday, February 2, 2015. Way back in the summer of 2013 we went on one of the most fun vacations ever with some very brave friends. Jason and Amanda endured four days, if I remember correctly, with Vince and I and our 4 kids. We toured the Budweiser Brewery, Busch Farms, City Museum, Imo's Pizza and Six Flags! We went to City Museum where Jason got to practice his. Disciplinary skills on other people's children. He also had to keep T in line after he got in trouble at Six Flags.

The Avila Team: August 2012
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. Our new green rental! Green on the outside AND on the inside. We had wonderful friends and their kids come and help us clean this house from top to bottom. The carpets were filthy and animals had definitely marked their territory, band-aids clung to the shower, and black "stuff" covered the downstairs toilet. The kids ran the Rug Doctor and did an awesome job! They scrubbed walls, mopped floors, cleaned windows, and more. It was such an incredible blessing!

The Avila Team: September 2012
http://theavilateam.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 20, 2012. What I forgot to teach my 3rd grader. When I first started homeschooling, I had the classroom all set up complete with a flag stapled to the wall with the Pledge of Allegiance written down below it. Over the years, our homeschool has moved into the kitchen and living room with kids scattered throughout the house, working on various subjects. While we do Bible almost every day, we have neglected to do the Pledge. From Lila (read with enthusiasm and in one continuous breath):.

“Give This Christmas Away” | Forget Us Not Fundraising
https://forgetusnot.wordpress.com/2012/12/07/give-this-christmas-away
Forget Us Not Fundraising. 8220;Give This Christmas Away”. Asymp; Leave a comment. I LOVE this time of year. I LOVE Christmas music. And this song is definitely one of my favorites this year. What if I told you. You have the power. To give someone hope. Beyond their wildest dreams. What if I told you. It’s right there in your hands. It’s hard to imagine. How something so small. Can make all the difference. Tear down the tallest wall. Looked different this year. What if we all just. So we could be. Christ...
