What I Read August - XO Lauren Elizabeth
http://www.xolaurenelizabeth.com/what-i-read-august
What I Read August. Despite having spent most of July and the first week of August on Everybody Rise, I’m proud to say that I’m still one book ahead of schedule on my goal to read 40 books in 2016. After I got through that first book, my reading picked up a lot this month. I really enjoyed reading this. I’ve seen mixed reviews, but I loved seeing a cult based on the perspective of a 14-year-old girl who’s in and out of the group. It kept me hooked from the beginning as Evie Boyd trans...August 29, 2016.

What I Read September - XO Lauren Elizabeth
http://www.xolaurenelizabeth.com/what-i-read-september
What I Read September. My goal for September was to read four books. And I’m happy to say that I was able to finish those four books! Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls. Do you ever read a book or watch a TV show/movie, and the whole time you’re thinking, “No! What are you doing? Don’t do that! I could not put this down. Seriously, my kindle was in my hand if I had a spare moment to read a chapter or two. The first book in the popular Robert Langdon...I abs...

Cheskie's Gap Life - Unexpected places? They're the best kind! - Cheskie's Gap Life
http://www.cheskiesgaplife.com/unexpected-places-theyre-the-best-kind
They’re the best kind! June 1, 2016. Everyone knows that the best nights out are unplanned and spontaneous. The ones you spend weeks prepping for and dreaming about are always a let down. Someone gets too drunk and you have to leave with them at 10pm, your shoes pinch, or the person you were planning on pashing finds someone else to bump uglies with. But when you head to the pub in your ‘washing day’ outfit for one drink? Far better are the places you end up in on a whim, with no prior knowledge or expec...

November Goals - XO Lauren Elizabeth
http://www.xolaurenelizabeth.com/november-goals-2016
I can’t believe it’s November already! Before we know it, it’s going to be New Year’s. But before we get that far, I’m ready to tackle my November goals to end this year on the right note. Between working out more, eating better, and adding some extra reading, I think I have a pretty well-rounded month to come. Cut out alcohol and sweets. I aimed for this last month, and only got three. But I was successful in September. So I’m hoping I can do it again in November. Run every other day. November 3, 2016.

No Spend September: Setting Up a Budget - XO Lauren Elizabeth
http://www.xolaurenelizabeth.com/no-spend-september-setting-budget
No Spend September: Setting Up a Budget. Does anyone else tend to overboard on spending during the summer? Between weekend getaways, outdoor dinners and happy hours, and the overload of cute summer clothing on sale, it’s easy to keep spending money. So I’m implementing a No Spend September. Obviously I have to spend some money. I need to pay rent and utilities, and I of course I need to eat. But I’m cutting out nonessential spending, and cutting back on luxuries. Tools for setting up for your budget:.

Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Travel Link-Up: Second Chances. This month's travel link-up topic is all about unexpected places. For me, the greatest surprise has been revisiting a destination I'd previously disliked - and the 360-degree change in opinion that followed. Has this ever happened to you? Here's my story . I detested it. The situation, the place, everything. And so, for the longest time, I associated Amsterdam with this short-lived illness I had. The mere mention. Of the city made me shudder. I arr...

No Spend September: Saving Money - XO Lauren Elizabeth
http://www.xolaurenelizabeth.com/no-spend-september-saving-money
No Spend September: Saving Money. Last week I told you about my No Spend September. Honestly, my biggest problem when it comes to saving money is spending. I usually don’t think twice if there’s something that I want to do or buy, but I should. This week I’m going to focus on ways that I plan to save money that you can use too! Take breakfast and lunch to work everyday. Make coffee at home. Meal plan and cook at home. Use Groupon and LivingSocial for dinners out. I don’t want to eat dinner at home ...
