the rest of my life: My Top One Hundred
http://divajude.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-top-one-hundred.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. My Top One Hundred. I’m not certain to this day whether Malta even has a zoo, let alone whether we went. We returned to England in 1970 with my youngest brother having just been born (he was 6 weeks old when we flew home) but it’s not for another 4 years or so that any music makes an impression on my memories. I must confess, here, that I’ve just wiki’d Leo Sayer, and did you know he isn’t really called Leo? I was in Woody tent, although I only lasted a night before being taken i...

Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Typically Tropical . part 2. Having already sent Dave to the supermarket earlier on a mission to acquire cold cures and antihistamine cream (having managed to acquire both a small population of rhinoviruses in my throat and several (probably sandfly) bites on my legs) I figured a relaxing afternoon would be in order. Oh, and Wednesday saw the first of the cricket matches, with the Kibby boys split between the 2 tourist teams which were captained by Shaun Udal and Craig White&#...

Monday, November 24, 2008. Typically tropical.part one. Not having to go to work on a Monday morning is but a minor addition to the reasons to be cheerful when you're sitting on the veranda of your apartment, watching the boyfriend dive into the pool just a dozen yards away through the palm-rich and gloriously sunny surroundings of the All-Seasons Europa apartments. And it's only 7 am and already in the early thirties. Our unexpectedly speedy exit through passport control/customs was offset by an extraor...

the rest of my life
http://divajude.blogspot.com/2008/09/main-reason-ive-decided-to-start.html
Sunday, September 07, 2008. You may well be asking why I'll suddenly have more time on my hands, and the reason is simply this: after 20 seasons of scoring for. And closely following the “why? 8221; is “what are you going to do instead? 8221; It seemed natural, therefore, to try and address these questions as I commence my post-scoring life. In response to the “why”, it's easier to list the reasons that don't apply:. I haven't fallen out of love with cricket. I haven't fallen out of love with scoring.

Thursday, September 25, 2008. Seconds out, Round One. So, I'm back - although it's taken rather longer than I anticipated - with news of my 3rd trip to the home of cricket for the National Club Championship final against Malden. To be honest, the overwhelming impression I retain of the trip is one of sitting around waiting, primarily because the latter part of our time in St. John's Wood mostly entailed sitting around waiting! But there was other stuff. Pea, mint and broad bean veloute. Fondant potato, c...
