Food up there
Sunday, March 21, 2010. One of my goals in the next six months is to find a restaurant that would like to grow their own food on their walls and roof. Here is a restaurant in Chicago. Have a look at this link to vertical farming. Which takes urban farming to the next level. I believe this is the way of the future but like the author indicates there is a fair amount of learning to be done first. Food Urbanism
Urban Agriculture, Food Security, Local and Sustainable Food Systems, Grow-Your-Own, Polyculture, Urban Food . Wednesday, June 27, 2007. I was cycling through the center of Dublin this afternoon and had stopped to chat to a couple of friends that I had not seen in a long time. While we were standing there on the side of the road, a woman came up to us and said "Nice blog. I like the Food Urbanism idea." And that was it. She was off down the road leaving me rather stunned! Links to this post. Establishing...

Food Urchin | He's got no hair but he don't care
He's got no hair but he don't care. Mummy’s Little Helper. August 15, 2011. Because I’ve got kids myself and despite all my best efforts, the pair of them are absolutely crap in the kitchen. Have you seen their pastry? By the time it goes in the oven, it’s grey, malformed and usually has a brick of Lego stuck in it. And we can never ever get frigging cupcakes baked, you know why? Well come on, Nicola, you’re making this shit up aren’t you? Maybe she’s not. I dunno but they were great with chopped strawbe...

You are what you eat. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Homemade Products: Cheaper and Safer! March 29, 2017. Ever read a label for a product and wonder how to pronounce the ingredients? The best way to stay away from these chemicals and additives is to not buy them! It sounds much easier than it actually is because these hide in many products we use daily. There is still a need or want for these things though, so I recommend making your own products or finding a safe alternative...
