Trixie and her Sweeties! Darling Trixie was found dodging traffic in Buchanan Dam and was saved by a shelter worker. Unfortunately, this poor girl was discovered to be pregnant, which was bad news at the shelter. Those caring folks called our rescue group and we couldn't resist her friendly, sweet personality. So we are going to keep her in foster care to deliver her puppies and then find Forever Homes for all of them. Wednesday, September 26, 2007. The puppies are all doing well, and now they have names!

Pregnant Sheltie-mix Callie was dumped at a kill shelter along with five of her 5 month old puppies from a previous litter. We also strongly suspect she is the mother to a litter we rescued from the same shelter last year. Her six precious puppies arrived on April 21, 2008.
