This is the story of Fancy's stay in foster care while she waits for her Forever Family. Saturday, April 28, 2007. Wow Fancy has had SUCH a busy two weeks! She is over the housebreaking hump now that she is over the steroids and she is catching on quickly to home and family life. She obviously still needs lots of training, but her progress in this short time is incredible. And what a lovey dog- so feisty and yet so cuddly. A doll for sure. And what a pretty girl. On Tuesday Fancy went to Taurus Training.

I saw this beautiful girl when her foster mom brought her to the vet. On Tuesday while I was picking up Darla. After their surgeries and dropping off Cupcake. I knew we didn't technically have room for her at our Foster Home. but I also know a great dog when I see one! I looked into her face and said "Yes! Forgotten Friends- Mixed Breed Rescue.

Callie's Crew

Pregnant Sheltie-mix Callie was dumped at a kill shelter along with five of her 5 month old puppies from a previous litter. We also strongly suspect she is the mother to a litter we rescued from the same shelter last year. Her six precious puppies arrived on April 21, 2008.
