Vietnam Report from the Field: December 2011
http://vietnamteamjournal.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 2, 2011. Mixed emotions always accompany the final day of any extended experience. Was it what we expected? Did we need our host’s expectations? Pam was expected to participate as a judge but previous commitments at the University precluded her attendcance. An audio system amplified noise and music.

Saturday, December 1, 2012. This is the last day of journal writing – so sad! In the morning, all three of us gave English lessons to the hotel restaurant staff. In the afternoon we taught 6. Grade, and 8. Grade class was cancelled. We were then invited to eat out with the English teachers and visiting teachers. We went to a very nice “hot pot” restaurant. Many toasts were given. I was impressed by our Chinese hosts and hope we were good ambassadors. Posted by Global Volunteers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
