Growing in 2010: It started with a thought - great intention + ACTION!

http://growingin2010.blogspot.com/2010/04/it-started-with-thought-great-intention.html

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. It started with a thought - great intention ACTION! Here is our little green house - well, partially green house! We need to finish the paint, create the plant beds, build a fan system, more compost bins, wrap it up etc. I'm sure all of our imaginations and visions will continue to expand as we journey through our first attempt. At a project like this. There will be several more parts to piece in before our home of tasty fruits and veggies is complete! For being the spark!

The Watering Hole

Monday, June 8, 2015. Thinking Outside the Box(es). I usually save these kinds of posts for New Year's, when I'm turning over a new leaf and my need for organization is at an all-time high, but I've come to realize there is no bad time to talk about being organized. The Africa They Never Show You. On September 30, 2017. On September 11, 2017. May we be as majestic as the mountains, as humble as the lakes and as resilient as the trees. On June 27, 2017. Exploring life in the world of agriculture. Welcome to the Blog. October 19, 2012. This week, I decided to feature asparagus! In my family, asparagus is a meal-time favorite, so we decided to grow some in my mom’s garden. Here is a picture of our asparagus coming out of the ground:. The stalks grow straight out of the ground, and are cut with a knife by hand. Here are some fun facts about asparagus:. Asparagus grows in very saline soil, and often salt is sprinkled around growing asparagus to repel weeds.

Growing in a Shrinking Culture | My journey through pregnancy, motherhood, and all it entails!

I decided to add a little meat back into my diet and if I was hungry, I would eat even if it meant I wasn’t eating a strictly vegan diet. In our last ...
