Friday, January 14, 2011. Santa brought a trampoline! We have considered buying the children a trampoline off and on for several years, but Dale never deemed them safe enough. For whatever reason, when I suggested it again this year Dale simply said, "OK." I ordered the trampoline in early December as the children's big gift. Now I didn't have to think about what individual "big gift" to get each child, it was done! Brady and Ashton set to work almost immediately on putting it together. Yay for the tramp!

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Christmas Eve, 2010. Dale's sister always puts on quite a spread for us each Christmas Eve! I try to bring a few things to add, mostly baked goods. This year Aunt Bonnie had the children play a hide-n-seek game to find their present. We had plenty of good laughs, good food and good company! Bonnie had Santa hats for all of us to wear, making the evening more festive! Again, Brady always the goofy one! Even Nan Nan got into the Christmas spirit! Thanks for having us Aunt Bonnie!

After I gave a lesson to the Young Women at church yesterday on the importance of keeping a journal, I decided I better practice what I preach!
