Wednesday, July 09, 2014. In light of all the Hobby Lobby drama, I was reminded of a conversation I had with a doctor. I was looking at a variety of birth control methods, and thought an IUD would be a good option, mainly because of the length of time it could be used for. But she further explained how the IUD worked. I realized that, wow, this isn't preventing pregnancy, it's preventing implantation. After I was educated about what it was, I made my own decision to not go with the IUD.

Enjoying the crazy ride! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. We had Ronin's birthday last week since Annie and Ray were going to be in town. It also worked out that Ben's grandma, Mimi, got to make it. We had a good time visiting with them. Ronin hit the jackpot in the present department, and enjoyed his cupcake. We also got the living room put together, so now I have another room with no excuse to not clean up. It turned out really cute, and it's nice having a nice quiet place to sit and study. Have a great week!

JOY in the HOUSE. ２００７年１月に、東京から横浜に引っ越してきた、”新婚”８年目の主婦が、日々出逢うこと・もの・人・考え方・ことばを気ままに書いてみます。新松田だからバスに乗り、「田代向」のバス停で下車。そこから宮地山を経由して、シダンゴ山へ。登山者も数名すれ違っただけ。山道もなかなかよかった。頂上到着前、「男坂」と「女坂」に別れていたので、主人は男坂、私は女坂へと分かれたら、なぜか私は山道から外れてしまい、あわや迷子に！獣道を暫く歩き主人の名前を大声で呼んだら、主人が獣道に迎えに来てくれ、無事山頂到着。約２時間弱の登り。富士山の姿も山に遮られながらも、綺麗に見えた。山頂では、いつものように主人がバーナーでお湯を沸かし、カップラーメンと紅茶を作ってくれた。いつ食べても山頂ラーメンは美味しい。お団子は…やはり山頂では売っていなかった。一応もしもの事を考えて持参したも、お腹がいっぱいで、家にお持ち帰り。天気も良く、穏やかな登山となった。旦那さんお疲れさまでした！今日はこれから、久々の山。７５８ｍのジダンゴ山頂を目指す。真夜中便は初めてで、果たして体がどんな感...
