I might post something about resolutions and sticking to them etc soon, but maybe not. Today I want to tell you about my first experiences with the Couch to 5k program. It basically is a program, which should lead you to the ability to run longer distances.In the beginning you walk and jog for short intervals each, and then slowly the intervals get longer and longer.

Nice and sweaty! I did this workout in two parts: the first part is 10 minutes and is cardio based. The second part is 12 minutes and is modeled after BodyRock’s Keep It Hard for 12 Minutes. 22 Minute Workout Blast. First Half: 10 minutes (10 rounds). The first is 10 seconds (rest) and then 50 seconds (work).

If you're only familiar with the "ho-hum" gym routines of using treadmills or elliptical. And whatnot, I suggest you try a tabata. Workout. I will briefly explain what a tabata. Is, but here is a website. That has plenty of good information on it. Protocol was created by Dr. Izumi. Exercises such as push ups, squats, crunches, and burpees.

Unfortunately I wrecked my back in the process. Looks like I'll be taking a few days/weeks off from working out. This is the last I'll be max out or go heavy like that. Friday 090703 - Sunday 090705. Resting for the holiday weekend. Right arm barbell push-press 12 reps. Left arm deadlift 12 reps. Right arm deadlift 12 reps.
