It's our Life - the Gharrings!: June 2009
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 12, 2009. Seriously how did I get here? Today Hayley promoted from 8th grade - what the heck - how do I now have a kid in high school? The ceremony was short and sweet which was perfect. Then Hayley and some of her friends and their parents went to Southcoast Winery for breakfast - mmm mm delicious, you cant beat their banana pancakes with coconut vanilla sauce. Like most girls enjoy doing, they took a bunch of pictures in their beautiful gardens in a myriad of different poses. This is my fa...

It's our Life - the Gharrings!: November 2009
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. It was a crazy month - we had a really hard time fitting in a time for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch before Chad and I left for Hawaii. I decided we would have to go this year without Chad and without Brad and Chelsea :(. They bounced, they flipped and had a ball! The man let them go extra long and they all came off with big smiles on their faces while they complained about how much it hurt - figure that one out! Trent and his boys! Cute little LuLu even got into cheerin...

It's our Life - the Gharrings!: November 2008
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 22, 2008. So you may think I am referring to the big game that took place today between BYU and Utah - no I am not, I do not care to mention that game at all because it was so frustrating. The big game I am referring to was our all girl flag football game Saturday morning against the Butterfield Stage ward. It was a showdown! Our coaches Chad and Jason were studs! They probably had us beat on style - mind you I thought we looked good, but we were intent on having them beat in skills!

http://kerstenfamily.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Too far behind to catch up. It's been too long since I've blogged about what's going on in our lives. It's hard to play "catch up" so I guess I won't! I'll just start from here and move on. Most recently, the kids finished the school year with flying colors. This year went by really fast and we all had a pretty good year. Presley with her teacher, Mrs. Norton. Stratton with his teacher, Mrs. Coats. Cas and I at her 6th grade graduation. Posted by The Kersten Family.

The Kersten Family: September 2009
http://kerstenfamily.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 11, 2009. Let the craziness begin. Heading out the door to start another school year. It is an early start to the day this year. We went from starting at 8:45 to 7:45.that is too early! We have had to do some serious adjusting to our summer sleep schedule. When I asked Presley to stand alone so that I could get a picture of just her, this is what I got. She told me that she likes to pose like this because she looks really cute. I can't argue! Posted by The Kersten Family. The end is near.

Monday, January 11, 2010. We had a great Christmas this year and I still can't believe that it's been here and is gone. The time off of school and work was a welcomed break for us all. We spent time together eating, playing games, cooking treats, shopping, watching movies and just relaxing. Here are a few pictures of a wonderful Christmas! Posted by The Kersten Family. It's our Life - the Gharrings!: Aloha and Maholo
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2009/12/aloha-and-maholo.html
Thursday, December 3, 2009. Our second day we decided to do a tour of pearl harbor. Once we got there and realized how expensive it was we changed our minds and just did what was free. Then we were ready for some hiking. We hiked Diamond Head which is an actual volcanic crater. The views at the top were great - with great views of the city of Honolulu and Waikiki. AAAH seriously does it not look like paradise - I miss it already. After an entertaining walk through downtown we finally found the restaurant...

It's our Life - the Gharrings!: Utah Bound
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2010/01/utah-bound.html
Thursday, January 7, 2010. We headed up to the motherland the week of Thanksgiving to spend it with my brothers family and my parents who were visitng for a few weeks. The kids love going to Utah, they love doing the same things, love the change of weather and feel very comfortable there. As much as I love California I do wish we had a little more of the changing colors of the leaves, more falling of the leaves and definitely more piles of leaves for the kids to play in - it entertained them for ever!

It's our Life - the Gharrings!: February 2009
http://gharring2.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2009. It is basically dinner and a show, taking you back to medieval times - thus the name. Each party is assigned a color, which refers to the section you sit and the knight that you cheer for. We were assigned the Green Knight, the bad guy, and we loved it, of course he won everything until the very very end, because of course good had to triumph over the bad right! The food was pretty good too, Trent cant stop talking about it! Monday, February 23, 2009. The crazier thing is tha...
