https://hansardblog.wordpress.com/2011/12/20/the-year-in-legislation-1-commonwealth-heads-of-government-meeting-special-powers-bill-2011

Don’t worry about the government…. The year in legislation (1): Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (Special Powers) Bill 2011. 20 December, 2011. Introduced to the Legislative Assembly on 23 February 2011, the Second Reading debate resumed on 22 March 2011:. You’re a good man mr. brown. I can see that being appropriate. I think I would make a great mascot the Mandurah mascot, wearing my little cap. You could be a ticket collector! Where will they go? I do not know. Here comes the serious bit. It is...

if you’re feeling sinister | Houses & Motions

https://hansardblog.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/if-youre-feeling-sinister

Don’t worry about the government…. If you’re feeling sinister. 4 February, 2010. I will be bringing into the chamber later today just two or three weapons from those that are on display because I want members to see the types of weapons that people are carrying in Northbridge and the CBD. I will bring in only two or three, because I think any more than that would be a stunt, and I am not looking to do a stunt. However, I want people to see. I can with the Speaker’s permission. Yes, but you’re dangerous.

i fought in a war | Houses & Motions

https://hansardblog.wordpress.com/2010/02/08/i-fought-in-a-war

Don’t worry about the government…. I fought in a war. 8 February, 2010. Earlier I sought the permission of the Speaker to show members of the house some of the weapons that the police are taking from people in Northbridge and the central business district. I do not do this as a stunt. I was horrified when I saw these weapons this morning. But I showed you some last year. The member for Girrawheen did not show me anything like the weapon I am now holding up. This is a weapon that was taken from. Follow H ...

Grammar Fool: March 2009

http://grammarfool.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Apparently I enjoy pointing out other people's mistakes. Friday, March 6, 2009. The height of professionalism. You'll have to click on the image to be able to see what I'm pointing out here, but let me just say, that is not the kind of error you'd expect to see on a website of PayPal's calibre. It lowers the tone and smacks of laziness and unprofessionalism. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). One of my dearest wishes is to one day live in a converted windmill. View my complete profile. Grammar Fool: Music and stuff

http://grammarfool.blogspot.com/2009/02/music-and-stuff.html

Apparently I enjoy pointing out other people's mistakes. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. The offending image in my previous post actually came from this shop. A double-whammy! Chris noticed this howler, while I just blundered into the shop thinking "ooh, CDs" without even looking at the name, as is my way on occasion. The mind boggles at the incompetency and laziness. Grammar Fool: January 2009

http://grammarfool.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Apparently I enjoy pointing out other people's mistakes. Sunday, January 25, 2009. Once asked me which I hate more, the use of unnecessary apostrophes, or missing ones. Both really get on my nerves, but for the former, it feels like the writer knows about the rules, but doesn't know how to apply them, whereas the latter smacks more of laziness. Or maybe it is just ignorance. Oh whatever, each scenario is as bad as the other! Saturday, January 17, 2009. Monday, January 12, 2009. I just returned from a tri...

Grammar Fool: February 2009

http://grammarfool.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Apparently I enjoy pointing out other people's mistakes. Thursday, February 19, 2009. I don't know about you, but whenever I read something that's missing a question mark, I mentally hear it in a flat monotone, without the all important end of sentence "lift" given by the punctuation. But that's just me, I am rather odd. Anyway, it just really grates. How could they have printed this huge sign without noticing the absence of question marks? Sunday, February 8, 2009. It fills the courtyard! Here in my head.

http://grammarfool.blogspot.com/2009/02/smokers-of-perth.html

Apparently I enjoy pointing out other people's mistakes. Sunday, February 8, 2009. Incidentally, I think calling the courtyard a smoke free area is a bit rich anyway. Awwww jtat it´s been too long. i keep seeing apostrophe nightmares over here and feeling the urge to photograph them and send them to you, but i feel a little guilty what with english not being everyone´s first language and all. The Hansard's

Sunday, May 12, 2013. If you had asked me many years ago, I would have assured you I would have had a house full of children. A dream that remained until a little over 13 years ago. Little did I know, God's plan was completely different and better than mine. In October 2005, we brought home our daughter. She is a picture of God's faithfulness to me. When I look at her, I am reminded of God's love for me. You see, He adopted me. Every year Mother's Day gets a little sweeter. Links to this post. Granted, s...
