a boy, a girl, & a kitty: August 2009
http://kimmierau.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
I ran 140 in July, so I decided I wanted to hit 150 in August. My final total was 152 - just over. I really think the fruit has helped these past two days - my legs have felt much much better. Bananas are definitely proven to be great for runners, but I'm building my faith in all fruit for that. It's incredible to me that what used to be a longer-ish runs for me are now my daily runs. Earlier I commented that the book Born to Run. Also Random: Dave and I have watched the Bourne Trilogy this weekend and i...

All this every day. Mulling over extravagant love, good books, city dwelling and coffee drinking. Rewind with me, back to Memorial Day weekend. The one where every last minute was dedicated to soaking up as much weekend as possible and storing it for days like today, when I'm back at work. On a Monday. And it's beautiful outside. And I want to be here again:. We kicked off summer with leisurely dinners, Saturday brunch, margaritas at Bakersfield. Drinks and shenanigans at Neon's. View my complete profile.

All this every day. Mulling over extravagant love, good books, city dwelling and coffee drinking. I decided that a pumpkin roll was the only way to go. So I based my roll on this recipe. Granulated sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, flour, powdered sugar, pure canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix), cream cheese, nutmeg, ginger, salt, ground cloves, cinnamon and baking powder. And also baking soda, which I forgot to get out. Then, prepare ye pans and surfaces! Beat in pumpkin, then stir in the dry ingredients.

Tulane Rehab: Spring Break - Day 1
http://tulanerehab.blogspot.com/2010/03/spring-break-day-1.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. Spring Break - Day 1. Tear down wallpaper and paint office. So, we've decided to buckle down and knock out the office before summer so we can focus our efforts on landscaping and painting the rest of the exterior. While Matt was busy doing what normal people do (go to work), I took down all three layers of wallpaper in the office since I'm on spring break. Tomorrow I am going to get to sanding and smoothing and hopefully painting by Wednesday afternoon! April 1, 2010 at 4:13 AM.

Tulane Rehab: June 2009
http://tulanerehab.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2009. It was a really hot day. I finally started priming the house today! I picked up primer at Sherwin Williams that would fill in all the cracks in the old paint job. There was a little more prep work to do on the front and back. After a few hours I started painting. Bad news - It was super hot today. Good news - I got a little bit of a tan and hopefully burned a few calories! I decided to save all detail work (windows, doors, etc) for last. Can you tell? Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

Facts, Facets, Fancies, and Fairy Tales. Because life is filled with realities, angles, ideas, and even happily ever afters. Monday, May 21, 2012. I don't consider myself much of a poet. But, in my grieving last week at the loss of Grandpa, just 4 months after the loss of Grandma, I found myself penning a poem. This is part of my healing. Part of my learning to say, "Goodbye.". This is my small tribute to Grandpa and Grandma. As I pass your still form,. I look into your face. And whisper a goodbye. The c...
