When I arrived the first day, I was greeted by two beautiful young French women who are acting as interns for the FAVA program. If you’ll recall (Ugh! I did it again! 8220;Uh, my room key isn’t working.”. 8220;Are you sure? Zat is your room.”. 8220;Yeah, I’m not sure it’s the right key…”. One of them accompanied me up to my room, turned the key, and voila! Unlocked. She cheerfully returned my key and went off on her way.

July 16, 2011 · 2:31 pm. I commute a lot back home. I have a 50 minute commute to and from school every weekday, often on weekends. I have a half hour walk from the music building to the building in which I teach and back, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It’s a two hour drive to Boston, two hour drive or train ride to NYC, where many of my friends live and where I audition for various singing programs into which I am rarely accepted. I have yet to watch one episode of Californication in France.

Having been given a jelly roll and a quilting book for Christmas 2010, there is no excuse not to get on with quiltmaking. Here's what happened next. Saturday, 24 September 2016. Binding and and a label - a finish. This orange binding hits the mark, after my squiggly FMQ border design. Which just leaves a label to embroider and attach. Not quite square, but near enough. She was more taken by the animals on the back, than the 'pretty' side, but that just goes to show that the backing choice was a good one!
