http://www.heatherdominic.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

For Family and Friends. Everyday Life with R and C. Monday, October 27, 2014. While big brother has been sick for a week (a virus - either one or two combined - but thankfully no pneumonia or strep throat), sister is feeling spunky and doing great. Here she is carving her little, tiny pumpkin at our neighbor's last night. Rhys did get into the action as well. AwwwI do love Halloween. And hoping everyone is healthy by FRIDAY! http://www.heatherdominic.blogspot.com/2015/07/unmooring.html

For Family and Friends. Everyday Life with R and C. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Almost four months. And the children keep growing and changing. Already Rhys is talking about changing in his electric scooter for a goKart (my mom bought him the scooter). I can't stop their growing. Then I think, how did my mom carry on without her mom all those years ago? Don't worry - I'm not unmoored.but I am bereft. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, January 24, 2009. Table for three please! It has been birthday week in our house; Matt's on Thursday and mine today. What better way to celebrate than to go out for a family meal? We packed up a couple of jars of Millie's favorite foods, her bib and as many ways to distract her as possible and headed off to Frankie's Scaloppine. For our 3.30pm reservation. Sunday, January 18, 2009. Millie checks out the Jumperoo. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Sunday, January 11, 2009. We love it when Millie find...

Friday, April 24, 2009. After the zoo we, er, swung (sorry! By the park again. A full day, Millie slept well that night! We went to Lincoln Park Zoo. Yesterday with Auntie Lucy, who's staying with us this week. It was a great day out and Millie loved seeing all the animals. She tried waving to a few animals, it was worth a shot, but none waved back. Millie loved watching this polar bear swim around. We could not get her to turn around for the photo - understandable really! Saturday, April 18, 2009. It's ...

Sunday, December 20, 2009. No posts in November! A new low. Time for a catch up before Christmas fun later this week. UK Granny and Grandpa came out to visit in November. We wandered over to the park where Millie played on the slide and had time for a quick photo before running for some central heating again! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, January 21, 2008. I'm so excited because this evening we get to see The National. I happened to come across an article in Time Out. Mentioning that they will be playing at Recital Hall as part of the Sydney Festival. These guys have quickly risen to become one of my very favorite bands (thanks, James and Amanda! And I'm thrilled to be able to see them perform live. You need to check them out. My wife is a big fan." She then asks, "A big fan of Clogs or The National? Posted by Anne and Chris.

The Brent Adventures: February 2008

http://thebrents.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 25, 2008. This weekend we head to the Blue Mountains! Well, sorta hard. I knock the windshield wipers at least 30 times reaching for the turn signal. And, while I swear from the right-hand driver's seat that I am in the dead center of the lane, I'm actually kissing the curb on the left. It's a very strange feeling. Chris decides to be the brave one and gets behind the wheel for the 2-hour drive into the mountains. There is a sort of swing/hammock contraption, several lounge chairs, a bar...

The Brent Adventures: Burpees and bear crawls

http://thebrents.blogspot.com/2008/04/burpees-and-bear-crawls.html

Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Burpees and bear crawls. It's a love/hate relationship. This all came about because over the past few months, we've noticed a peculiar outdoor group fitness phenomenon - people charging at each other with boxing gloves, throwing around medicine balls, etc. It's everywhere. We were curious and agreed it might be good to try something other than running - I believe this is called "cross training". I get up the next morning instantly sad and flabby? Our next session begins on Monday.

The Brent Adventures: Zoo zombies

http://thebrents.blogspot.com/2008/05/zoo-zombies.html

Saturday, May 24, 2008. It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but we've been whipping around the States and just got back last week after a whirlwind trip that included stops to Chicago, Iowa, Arkensas and finally Kansas City, for Jeff and Sarah's beautiful wedding. Phew! Naturally, we arrive completely jet-lagged and decide it makes perfect sense to go to the zoo. Who wouldn't? Did it have a duckbill? Maybe there's a picture. Posted by Anne and Chris. You know how sometimes you think some people are just pathetic? You know how sometimes you're the one who's just pathetic? Do you think people notice? I feel like people either LOVE Drew Barrymore or HATE Drew Barrymore. I love Drew Barrymore. Ya know on "The Sandlot" at the very end where Smalls is narrating and telling what happened to all of the boys as they got older, like what they did, and where they went? That part makes me cry. Every. Time. I want to go. Like I said. Only some things. Every intel...
