Saturday, October 16, 2010. It has been awhile since I've posted so here is pretty much a summary of the major things I've done the last couple months:. Going well, very busy, so far keeping all A's. hope it lasts. Got all new clients, had to start working mornings as well as nights, was VERY stressful and unenjoyable. October 8th I stopped working. I feel much happier now. Nathan sounded amazing, as usual (watching Nathan sing is one of my favorite things, I'm always so proud! Posted by Heather Shumway.

Monday, August 16, 2010. My two oldest brothers came up this weekend to visit Nathan and I before we all start school. They are both headed to BYU-I so we won't get to see them very often. It was a lot of fun having them here! We went to Cheyenne and saw Toy Story 3, so we didn't do anything really exciting but I really enjoyed just having them around and talking to them. They also taught a primary class for me since one of the teachers was gone on Sunday, thanks guys! Posted by Heather Shumway.

Monday, January 31, 2011. This has been an eventful week for two reasons:. 1) Nathan took his first shot of Enbrel! He hasn't had any pain pills since he took it and he is feeling great. It seriously is a miracle drug! 2) The second reason this has been an eventful week is that I got a job, hooray again! I will be working the front desk at the rec center. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Today Nathan and I went down to Cheyenne to get some pregnancy clothes for me! In the Motherhood Maternity store they provide a baby bump that you can try on to see how the clothes will fit. Nathan and I had a lot of fun trying on our baby bellies. I must say that Nathan makes a much more attractive pregnant person than I do. Then we hung out with Sam and the kids for awhile. And of course we took a ton of pictures of Carlee! A little lumpy, but it is the right idea. Picture Win...

Saturday, January 7, 2012. With the new year, Nathan and I have been reflecting on how great this last year was for us. We have been so blessed and have done a lot of great things. Some of the major events from our 2011:. In Arizona with Joseph and Lauren. Nathan was able to get Enbrel for his arthritis, which completely changed our lives! Finding out we were pregnant on Valentine's Day. My mom gave me a big surprise by coming to Laramie on my birthday. Nathan graduated with his undergrad in business.

Thursday, December 29, 2011. We had such an amazing Christmas this year! We went to Evanston and got to spend almost two weeks with my family. Everyone was home this year so it was a lot of fun. One of my favorite things that we got to do was go down to Salt Lake and see the lights on temple square as a family. The lights are so beautiful and Calvin loved them! I bought Calvin a little coat too, and it actually matches mine. which wasn't planned but worked out really nicely! Still in love and so cute!

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Sunday, September 9, 2012. Season in the Serengeti. So, I'm moving to Tanzania next month. October 15th. I'll be the volunteer coordinator for an orphanage, working for the Tanzanian Children's Fund. For two years. Volunteering in orphanages in Russia, coordinating volunteers for organizations in Seattle, camp counseling, teaching English, mentoring children of all ages, are all just some of the reasons that make me perfect for this role and what makes it right for me.
