Just don’t want any leaks. Making sure the fittings fit properly. This video shows one final look at the alignment of the transmission. Also in this picture is the support bracket that I had to fabricate. This brace helps keep the transmission from raising up during flight. Shaft alignment and trans bracket.

Installed the painted slider bracket and the gearbox for the tail rotor. The gear box has to be aligned before final install. Painting is not my favorite part of this project! Finally, I have a coat of primer on a few parts, did that a couple of days ago so now they are ready for the final coat. Where is the Ebola?

I needed to drill the holes for the bolts. Each section requires two bolts perpendicular to each other on each end of the shaft. The spacing is one bolt width from the end and one between. I hope they are close enough had a little issue with drilling straight even with the drill press. November 4, 2014. Where is the Ebola? Aligning the slider bracket.
