When I was growing up we were always on vacation for my birthday, so I thought it was great that Alyssa could have a Rocky Mountain birthday. We decided to take them on a horse ride for Alyssa’s birthday. Here is Alyssa on her horse. Here are the horses in the coral. Ashley on her horse “Curley” . Aug and Ash on the trail. Back at our campsite the girls found a pack of weasel. They were running all over the place.

Saturday, June 14, 2008. Day Three (640 miles). I will try to get some pictures when we stop tonight, so check back tomorrow. The First Day (500 miles). Now that we were back on track we were driving up steep gravel roads (the tires on the van were actually spinning at one point) through trailer parks, and finally it told me to turn into someone’s back yard, and I did! The gravel road ended and it looked like if I continued on the grass I could get back onto the road. That did not work!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Today we drove up to Bear Lake to take the Alberta Falls hike. We got up early to beat the crowds. We got lucky and got the first spot. Alberta Falls is a easy 1 mile hike.
